The Alicante Airport – Mojácar Route

Alicante-Elche is the biggest airport serving this stretch of coast, with far more UK and Irish routes than Almería or Murcia — which is exactly why so many of our customers land there. The transfer south to Mojácar covers around 190 km on the AP-7 and A-7 motorways and takes roughly two hours door to door.

It's a genuinely easy drive: dual carriageway almost the whole way, past Elche, Murcia and Lorca, then down into the Levante Almeriense. Our vehicles are modern and air-conditioned, and we'll stop if you need to stretch your legs on the way.

Should You Fly to Alicante or Almería?

Honest answer: it depends on the flight price. Almería airport is much closer to Mojácar — about 50 minutes versus two hours — so if the fares are similar, fly to Almería and take our Almería transfer from €18. But Alicante has more airlines, more frequencies and often significantly cheaper seats, and plenty of travellers save more on the flight than the extra transfer costs. Murcia Corvera sits neatly in between on both counts.
